Retreats & Gatherings
A new day. Every possibility.
Every sunrise here is a different color — a new hue, a new horizon, a new answer to what's possible. However you spend the days between — resetting, building, gathering around a long table — the light does the work of reminding you why you came.
Call it a retreat, if that's the word you're searching for. Technically, it means to pull back — but nothing here moves backward.
Every morning arrives new: a different color, a different light, a different answer to what's possible. Come away from what you know. Arrive at what's next.

Creative Gatherings
Every day here starts the same way — new light, a choice, and however long you have to do something with it.

For some, that means a strategy that didn't exist yesterday. For others, a dish nobody's tried, or an hour of stillness nobody made time for before. Different rooms, same instinct: make something new, somewhere the ocean can see it happen.
Ask about The Scallywag Society — for those who keep coming back to make something here.

The Long Table
Executive & Team Retreats
Bring the strategy. A table built for spreading things out, the water in view, and nobody checking the clock. A few days, away from wherever you usually do this.

The Counter
Private Culinary Experience
Where the work used to happen, something else does now. A private chef, a theme you choose — a night in Italy, in Paris, in the Lowcountry — or an afternoon at the counter learning to make it yourself. Or, simpler: oysters and a bottle of wine as the light goes. Tell us what you're craving.

The Path
Wellness, Yoga & Personal Retreats
Before anyone else is awake, the walkway to the water is yours alone. A mat on the balcony, a quiet hour with a journal, an afternoon that belongs to nothing but itself. However many days you need to remember what standing still feels like.

The Counter
The counter that used to run the town
This was once Mayor Joel Macon's penthouse
“He frequently used his kitchen counter as a satellite office to conduct town business.”
These days, the business being conducted is dinner. Same counter, same water view — just chef's knives instead of council minutes. Pull up a stool, or just watch. Either way, you're standing where the real conversations happened.
The Space
A table. A counter. A path to the water.
Nothing here was built for this page. The table already sat empty most mornings. The counter was always going to end up covered in something. The path to the water existed before any of this had a name. All that's changed is what you might do with them.

Four bedrooms, room for nine
Three bathrooms, attached where it counts, and a flexible fourth room that decides itself once everyone arrives. Enough beds that no one draws the short straw.
Moments, Made Here
Help us shape what's next
Whether it's the counter, the table, or the path — nothing here is finished yet. Tell us what you're imagining, and we'll figure out the rest together.

The next one's already on its way.
Whatever brings you here — a strategy, a recipe, or just a morning to yourself — Mike and Tania answer every inquiry personally. No detail too small, no plan too unfinished.
